DESCRIPTION OF THE ABBREVIATIONS OF THE STATE OF VINYL RECORDS:
 

SS - Still Sealed - sealed plate

NMint / Archive- The record was not played or played very little. The plate and envelope are very beautiful.

EX- Excellent - The disc was played a little and very carefully. On vinyl there may be surface rubs or scratches from the paper envelope that do not affect the sound of the plate. On the envelope there may be hardly noticeable kinks or defects that do not spoil its appearance.

VG - Very Good - We use this estimate only for mega rare and expensive records. The record was played very often.
On the plate, obvious scratches, marks and rub marks are visible. The cover has defects, imperfections or breaks.

 

 

ABBREVIATIONS AND DESCRIPTION OF APPLICABLE TERMS:

2 LP's - two plates in the set.
7 '- seven-inch "small" plate, usually single.
ARCHIVE COPY - a plate in impeccable condition from a collection, a library, a museum, a radio station or a producer.
AUDIOPHILE - audiophile sound.
AUTOGRAPH is the autograph of the performer.
BOOK / BOOKLET -book / booklet included with the album.
BONUS TRACK - additional songs not included in the original version of the album.
BOX - a box in which the plates are placed.
CALENDAR - the calendar included with the album.
CARDS - cards, cards, included in the set of an album
CLUB EDITION - a plate, issued by prior subscription for members of a club.
COLOR VINYL - a plate made of colored vinyl.
CUT-OUT - on the envelope (as a rule, in the corner) a slot is cut or a hole is punched or a corner is cut off.
FLEXI DISC is a flexible plate included with the album.
FOIL COVER - "metallized" or foil cover.
ETCHED DISC is a disk with a picture printed with laser engraving.
GIMMICK COVER-cover with various design surprises and unusual.
INNER SLEEVE - internal paper envelope, included in the bundle of the album.
INSERT tab. Sheet of paper with text or any other information that is directly related to a particular plate.
LIMITED EDITION-plate, released in limited edition.
MAXI - maxi single. A plate, a standard 12-inch size, recorded at a speed of 45 revolutions per minute.
MONO - the plate is published in a mono version.
OBI - a paper tape surrounding the Japanese plate envelope.
OUTER BAG - external package (paper or plastic), included in the bundle of the album.
PICTURE DISC - a plate with a picture or photo printed on its surface.
POSTCARD - postcard, included in the set of plates.
POSTER - poster, included in the bundle of the album.
PRIVATE PRESS is a record produced by the musicians themselves.
PROMO COPY - a plate issued for promotion, for advertising, etc.
PROMO LIST - additional sheet that carries information about the performer.
RADIO STATION COPY - a record from the archive of the radio station.
STICKER is a sticker included with the album.
STILL SEALED - sealed plate.
TOP COPY - the disc is in perfect condition NMINT / ARCHIVE.
UNOFFICIAL EDITION - unofficial edition.
UNPLAYED COPY is a record that was never lost on external data. Refers only to the state of vinyl.
QUADRO - records recorded for playback on quad devices.
