The album includes songs recorded during concerts in Germany and Japan during a concert tour in support of the album Rising in 1976. Some of the tracks are a fusion of the versions of songs from different concerts. In addition, the duration of the compositions were adjusted in order to fit on four sides of the vinyl edition.
