It's just rock and roll") is the twelfth British and fourteenth American studio album by The Rolling Stones, was released in 1974 on the band's own label. It became the last album of the band with guitarist Mick Taylor, the title song of the record indirectly hinted at Taylor's replacement, Ronnie Wood[source not specified 464 days]. The album has a more pronounced rock sound than the band's previous work, funky and soul-inspired-Goats Head Soup. The album reached the first line in the US national chart and became the second in the UK charts.

Passion and Warfare is the second studio album by guitarist Steve Vai, released on May 22, 1990 on Relativity and Epic Records. He received a gold certificate from the RIAA. Passion and Warfare was written based on a series of episodes of dreams that Vai had when he was younger, and in the album's guitar notes book Vai summarizes it this way: "Jimi Hendrix meets Jesus Christ at a party that Ben Hur arranged for Mel Blanc." It was all recorded at Mothership Studios in his Hollywood Hills home, a 1,600-square-foot (150 m2) building that also recorded his guitar parts for Whitesnake's 1989 album Slip of the Tongue. Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale has small spoken parts on the album; Coverdale, Adrian Vandenberg and Rudy Sarzo are credited with backing vocals. Vai claims that planning for the album began back in 1982, but was postponed after joining David Lee Roth's band and was not resumed until the breakup with Roth in 1989. ...more
