JOPLIN, JANIS-IN CONCERT (2LP'S)-1972- FIRST PRESS USA-COLUMBIA-AL31162.  A rare American original of the cult album. In Concert is a live album by Janis Joplin. It was released in 1972, after Joplin's death, as a double album. The first record contains performances with Big Brother and the Holding Company, and the second with the Full Tilt Boogie Band, recorded in different locations in 1968 and 1970. There are no live recordings from her first solo work with the Kozmic Blues band on the album, although the songs produced with this group were performed in Full Tilt Boogie Band recordings. The photographs used for the gatefold album were taken by photographer David Gar in New York in 1969 and 1970. The album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 in the US. ...more

The Wall: Live in Berlin is a concert performance of the legendary rock opera The Wall by Pink Floyd, organized by its main author Roger Waters and held on July 21, 1990 at Berlin's Potsdamer Platz, which has long been divided by the Berlin Wall. The concert was filmed as a TV movie, and also released in September 1990 as a live album. The concert took place in the presence of a 200,000-strong audience on July 21, 1990 at Potsdamer Platz, which was previously a no-man's land separating East and West Berlin. During the concert, a "wall" with a width of more than 160 m and a height of about 25 m was erected on the stage, which was finally destroyed to the ground. Work on Abbey Road took place from February to August 1969 and became the last joint project of all four members of the ensemble (the last numbered album of the group Let It Be, released in 1970, was mostly recorded in January 1969). The record was produced by George Martin, who had worked with the band since 1962. Abbey Road sales totaled four million copies in the first two months. In the UK, the album debuted at the top of the national chart, where it remained for 11 weeks, after which it was supplanted by The Rolling Stones' Let It Bleed for one week. Then he returned to the 1st place again (in the Christmas week) and stayed there for another six weeks (17 weeks in total), until he was displaced by the second Led Zeppelin record - Led Zeppelin II. The album is a representative of the genre of the Canterbury scene, it features characteristic organ solos and melodic vocals typical of the band's style. BARCLAY JAMES HARVEST-EYES OF THE UNIVERSE-1979-FIRST PRESS UK-POLYDOR-POLD5029.A rare British original of the cult prog band. Eyes Of The Universe is the tenth studio album by the British band Barclay James Harvest, released on November 5, 1979.  After recording the album "XII" in 1978, the band lost the "branded" mellotrons of Stuart "Woolley" Woolstenholm. Feeling close within the Barclay James Harvest group, Woolley seriously engaged in a solo career. The remaining trio of musicians decided to continue the existence of their collective, making up for the loss mainly due to session musicians. The band's sound has noticeably improved and become more pop, but it has remained "afloat". And that was the main thing. One could not even dream of fame in America, but in Europe the records continued to be sold "briskly". ...more
