The album was recorded in autumn 1975, and was released in February 1977. The album got good reviews, but sales were not as high as planned. This is not surprising - the music of the new group was not similar to the music of "Deep Purple" , the style is more reminiscent of a heavy funk with roots of DEEP PURPLE.
