TRAFFIC-WELCOME TO THE CANTEEN-1971-FIRST UK PRESS-ISLAND - ILPS9166. Rare original British prog.This is the first live album by English rock band Traffic . It was recorded live at Fairfield Halls , Croydon and The Oz Benefit Concert, London July 1971 and released in September of the same year. It was recorded during the third term of the Dave Mason with the band, which lasted only six performances. The track list includes one song from the first three Traffic albums, two songs from the first solo album Mason's "Alone Together" and "Gimme Some Lovin' " from the former group Steve wynwood art The Spencer Davis Group . (On the wynwood art and rhythm guitar Mason is clearly not in sync for part of "Gimme Some Lovin'".)
