"Witness" is a chic album by the band, recorded in 1973. To record it, Mike Kelly, the drummer from the original composition of Spooky Tooth, returned to the band and, practically, replaced Bryson Graham, who participated in the recording of the previous album You Broke My Heart ... (1973). Gary Wright is gaining more and more influence in the band, which did not please frontman Mike Harrison, who left the band shortly after the release of “Witness”. In addition to Wright, the authors of the music were bassist Chris Stewart in the song "Don't Ever Stray Away" and guitarist Mick Jones in the rather pop "All Sewn Up". Mike Harrison strangely did not have a hand in the composition in any way. But his emotional vocals created the main mood of Witness. The band also returned to the old practice of Spooky Tooth from the time of the album Spooky Two - duets, vocal duels between Harrison and Wright.
