As a solo petty album Full Moon Fever, Into the Great Wide Open was produced by fellow musician by the Traveling Wilburys Jeff Lynne. The album was moderately successful, certified gold in Germany and Switzerland, platinum in the UK and Sweden, and 2×multi-platinum in Canada and the United States. The song "Out In The Cold", "Learning To Fly", "King's Highway" and "Into The Great Wide Open" took the leading position in the Mainstream Rock chart. In the last music video starred johnny Depp who had free time on the set of the film "Arizona dream" by Emir Kusturica.
