Supernatural debuted on 3 July 1999 19 spot on the Billboard 200, and topped it after 18 weeks (30 October 1999) and remained at # 1 for 12 weeks, eventually becoming the most successful album by Santana, the world's total circulation has exceeded 30 million copies. Two singles from the album topped the American hit parade Billboard Hot 100: "Smooth" (where the singer was made by Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty) were in the lead 12 weeks, and "Maria Maria" (featuring the Product G&B) was at # 1 for 10 more weeks.
