Pearls of Passion was recorded at the EMI Studios in Stockholm in 1986, and was only released in Scandinavia and Canada. First Swedish edition of the plate has an engraved inscription around the rim: "T'WAS A PLEASURE - CAPTAIN AND KANGAROO". The inscription has a hidden meaning but Per Gessle reveals the secret and wants to keep it secret.
