The first Studio album by Ringo Starr after a long pause in the recording of Studio albums. The album was recorded after a successful world tour Starr in 1989-1990 in conjunction with the All-Starr Band. The album was very well received by the critics. Time Takes Time was recorded irregularly, with pauses for 1991 under the leadership of such well-known producers like Don Was, Peter Asher, Phil Ramone and Jeff Lynne. The songs for the album were written by third party authors. Ringo Starr co-wrote three songs-"Don't Go Where the Road Don't Go", "After All These Years" and "Runaways". The album was attended by several of his famous pals: Brian Wilson, Harry Nilsson, lead vocalist of the band Electric Light Orchestra Jeff Lynne. ...more
