HUMBLE PIE-TOWN AND COUNTRY-1969-UK FIRST PRESS-IMMEDIATE-IMSP-027. Mega rare original cult Blues-prog-psychedelic band. Steve MARRIOTT was founded by Humble Pie in 1968 with Greg Ridley, Peter Frampton and Jerry Shirley. Their debut single "Natural Born Boogie" became a hit in the singles chart in the UK and was accompanied by the album as Safe as Yesterday Is, which climbed to sixteenth place in the charts of albums in the UK. Their second album, Town and Country was released in the UK in 1969 when the band was absent in his first U.S. tour. This album featured a more acoustic sound and songs written by all four members.
