The lyrical theme of the album is strange and unclear (For example, the tracks "Don't Eat the Yellow Snow" and "Nanook Rubs It" tell of the singer who wants to become an eskimo named Nanuk), with the exception of "Uncle Remus", which is a continuation of Zappa's relationship to racial discrimination, which subjects touched on in his earlier song "Trouble Every Day".
