Crash Landing is a posthumous compilation of American guitarist Jimi Hendrix .Was released in March and August 1975 in the United States and the United Kingdom respectively. It was the first Hendrix album, produced by Alan Douglas . Hendricks made many recordings in the Studio in 1969 and 1970, has accumulated a lot of songs close to completion and release. After the death of Hendrix Manager in 1973, Alan Douglas began to appreciate the hundreds of hours of remaining material that was not used on earlier posthumous albums. "Peace in Mississippi", "Somewhere" and "Stone Free" was recorded with the original lineup of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, while the rest of the material consisted of recordings Hendrix originally made with Billy Cox on bass and Mitch Mitchell or buddy miles on drums and once rocky Isaacs.
