Crash Landing is a posthumous compilation of American guitarist Jimi Hendrix .Was released in March and August 1975 in the United States and the United Kingdom respectively. It was the first Hendrix album, produced by Alan Douglas . Hendricks made many recordings in the Studio in 1969 and 1970, has accumulated a lot of songs close to completion and release. After the death of Hendrix Manager in 1973, Alan Douglas began to appreciate the hundreds of hours of remaining material that was not used on earlier posthumous albums. The creation of this album was inspired by Cooper's stay in new York hospital, where he was treated for alcoholism. Each of the characters of the songs based on real stories of people who met with Cooper in the hospital. To work on the album, Alice invited three former band members Elton John: poet Bernie Taupin, guitarist Davey Johnstone and the bass player Dee Murray.
