In 1988, the album received two Grammy awards in the categories "album of the year and Best vocal rock performance by a Duo or group". The Joshua Tree is regularly featured among the most important records in rock history and is one of the best selling albums in the world - more than 25 million copies. According to the decision of the National Academy of art and science of sound recording of the USA the album was included in "the Grammy Hall of fame", a solemn ceremony was held in 2014. In the same year, the album entered the archive of the us Library of Congress — national registry of iconic musical works of the twentieth century.

Eat the Heat is the eighth Studio album by band Accept, released in 1989, and the first recorded without Udo Dirkschneider.Creative differences Udo Dirkschneider with other members of the group made themselves felt, and in 1987, Parole was forced to leave the Accept and create our own band U.
