Редкий британский оригинал в топ состоянии с плакатом. Wings Greatest — сборник британско-американской рок-группы Wings, выпущенный в Великобритании 1 декабря 1978 года. Это был последний релиз группы на лейбле Capitol в США. Альбом стал первым официальным ретроспективным релизом в карьере лидера группы Пола Маккартни после распада The Beatles. Альбом был записан после того, как Маккартни решил покинуть американский лейбл EMICapitol и в течение шести лет сотрудничать с Columbia (только в США и Канаде), хотя во время творческого отпуска в США он оставался в EMI по всему миру.  Изначально альбом задумывался как двойной, со второй пластинкой Cold Cuts: сборником ранее не издававшихся отрывков из песен Wings. В итоге альбом стал Wings Greatest синглом. Before I Forget — solo Studio album by English composer and keyboard player, band member of Deep Purple Jon Lord, released in 1982. In the original version of the album includes 8 songs recorded without orchestra. Most of the songs are either mastimovie rock tracks ("Hollywood Rock & Roll", "Chance On A Feeling") or, in particular, on the other side, a series of very English classical piano ballads performed by the family Duo, Vicki brown and Sam brown and vocalist Elmer Gantry. Lord used synthesizers more than before, mostly to preserve privacy with material and create a jam atmosphere with old friends like Tony Ashton. ...more

WAKEMAN, RICK-RHAPSODIES-1979-FIRST UK PRESS-A&M - AMLX68508. Matrix A-3/B-3/C-3/D-4. Rare British original cult keyboardist of progressive music. "Rhapsodies" (Rhapsody) - the 8th album by Rick Wakeman (double), includes Rhapsody works as the Rick and some other authors. Recorded this album in 1978 and early 1979 in a home Studio Wakeman "La Grange Studios", as well as in Switzerland, in the Studio, "Mountain Studios" (Montreux). Produced by Tony Visconti (previously worked with David Bowie, Marc bolana group "sparks"), he played acoustic guitar. The release took place in may 1979 on the label of A&M. Critics praised this album's different, but relatively low compared to previous albums. Sam Wakeman said that he did not plan to create something outstanding, he just tired from the countless tours with the band "Yes" and decided to relax, doing exactly the music which he at that moment was like. Immediately after the release, he terminated the contract with A&M, and the following album was released on Charisma Records. ...more
