It contained the single "Polk Salad Annie", which has been a staple of live sets by Elvis Presley in 1970-ies. It was recorded at RCA Victor Studios, Nashville and produced by Billy Swan. Lyrics to Polk Salad Annie describe the way of life of a poor southern girl. Traditionally, the term describing the type of food highlighted in the song "poke salad". Its release, 1968, peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100.
