The Quiet Zone / The Pleasure Dome is the eighth Studio album by the British rock band Van der Graaf Generator, released 2 September 1977. The last Studio recording until the reunification of the team in 2005. In 1976 the group left two musicians of the classic lineup of Van der Graaf Generator: Hugh Banton and David Jackson (who, however, participation in the recording of two tracks). To replace them came the former in the group until 1970, NIC Potter and Graham Smith.

"Rhapsodies" (Rhapsody) - the 8th album by Rick Wakeman (double), includes Rhapsody works as the Rick and some other authors. Recorded this album in 1978 and early 1979 in a home Studio Wakeman "La Grange Studios", as well as in Switzerland, in the Studio, "Mountain Studios" (Montreux). Produced by Tony Visconti (previously worked with David Bowie, Marc bolana group "sparks"), he played acoustic guitar. The release took place in may 1979 on the label of A&M. Critics praised this album's different, but relatively low compared to previous albums. Sam Wakeman said that he did not plan to create something outstanding, he just tired from the countless tours with the band "Yes" and decided to relax, doing exactly the music which he at that moment was like.
