DEEP PURPLE-BURN-1974-FIRST UK PRESS-PURPLE - TPS 3505, OC 062 94837, Matrix A-2/B-1U. Stamper 1A/2GGO. Very rare British original. Burn is the eighth Studio album by the British band Deep Purple and the first recorded composition of "Mark 3", was released in February 1974 on EMI/Purple (UK) and Warner Bros. in the United States. Burn was recorded in November 1973 in Montreux, Switzerland (Mobile Studio The Rolling Stones). Under the influence of newcomers — singer David Coverdale and bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes — the sound of Deep Purple has become more Blues, began to show elements of funk and soul.Despite the fact that the song "Burn" became a big hit, and its main melody is surpassed in recognition only of the legendary "Smoke on the Water", in fact few people know that the riff of this song was borrowed from George Gershwin's of "Fascinating Rhythm /Someone to Watch Over Me". [4][unauthoritative citation needed]. Becoming a hit, "Burn" over the next two years, opened the concerts of Deep Purple.

GILLA-I LIKE SOME COOL ROCK'n'ROLL 1980-FIRST GERMANY PRESS-HANSA - 201406-320. Very rare original one of the best albums in the disco style. Gill and Roelofs 1980 record a new album, preceded by its release of the single We Gotta Get Out Of This Place. The album was called I Like Some Cool Rock'n'roll, and it was produced by himself, Roelofs, and Farian remained in the project as a viewer and a producer, for which, however, had the final word. The album was attended by interesting disco song Go Down Main Street, Tom Cat, as well as a few songs Roelofs, co-written by Fred Jay, including a beautiful lyrical Take Your Time. What prevented this album to be a bestseller, unknown, but, apparently, the role played by the fact that in 1980 disco began to experience hard times. Nevertheless, the album became fairly common in Europe (especially Eastern) and South-East Asia, where Euro-disco was very popular. ...more
