Appetite for Destruction is the debut Studio album by American hard rock band Guns N’ Roses, Geffen released July 21, 1987. According to some estimates, the total circulation of the plate was 27 million copies, according to the other 32 million. According to Billboard 200, the most successful debut album in the US in the number of copies sold. Originally the album cover was an illustration by Robert Williams depicting a monster with daggers for teeth, attacking the robot, bent over the insensible woman in a torn dress and with pants down. Numerous complaints from various religious and social organizations have forced many stores to sell CD's wrapped in brown paper or some other way to close the figure, or to opt out of album sales. It was recorded live at Fairfield Halls , Croydon and The Oz Benefit Concert, London July 1971 and released in September of the same year. It was recorded during the third term of the Dave Mason with the band, which lasted only six performances. The track list includes one song from the first three Traffic albums, two songs from the first solo album Mason's "Alone Together" and "Gimme Some Lovin' " from the former group Steve wynwood art The Spencer Davis Group .
