BAD COMPANY-ROUGH DIAMONDS-1982-FIRST PRESS USA-SWAN SONG-90001-1. A rare American original rock and Blues band. Rough Diamonds is the sixth Studio album by English rock band Bad Company. The album was released in August 1982. Rough Diamonds, like its predecessor, Desolation Angels, was recorded at Ridge Farm studios in Surrey, England, in March and April 1982, and engineered by max Norman (known for his work with Ozzy Osbourne).
It was the last album by the original Bad Company line-up and the most recent Studio album to feature Paul Rogers. The album's debut track, "Electricland", written by Rogers, became the album's biggest hit. The track "Painted face" Rogers on the air rock stations spun day and night. The album became the best-selling album (gold) of the original line-up, reaching a disappointing No. 26 on the Billboard album charts in 1982.
