In September 1987, Bad debuted at the top of the us Billboard 200 chart and the UK albums Chart, and the album topped the charts in 25 countries. Between 1987 and 1989 . Worldwide sales of the record according to various sources range from 30 to 45 million copies. Bad received two Grammy awards in 1988 and 1990.
