In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida is the second studio album by American rock band Iron Butterfly, released on June 14, 1968. The album is notable for its eponymous composition, which in its extended version occupies the entire second side of the record. The album reached number 4 on the Billboard chart and became the first album to be certified platinum in 1976 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling over 30 million copies. In the United States, it became the best-selling album for all of 1969.
