Rockaway Pressing, A rare original of the cult album. Willy and the Poor Boys is the fourth studio album by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released by Fantasy Records in November 1969.The title of the album was given by the chorus of its first track "Down on the Corner": "Down On The Corner, out in the street, Willy and the Poor Boys are playin 'Bring a nickel tap your feet". The album reached #3 on the Billboard 200 and #10 on the UK Albums Chart. Until 1991, it existed only as a tape album, distributed by copying. Included in the book by Alexander Kushnir "100 magnetoalbums of Soviet rock" The recording was made on June 7-10, 1981. The sound engineer was Alexander "Artem" Arutyunov. The album was mixed on the spot.  The songs "In life, like in a dark thicket", "Who's to blame?" and "I used to wander alone" were first recorded in 1979 on the first album. A total of 9 songs were recorded.
