Mega rare British original of the cult band's second album. Salisbury is the second studio album by British rock band Uriah Heep, released in January 1971 by Vertigo Records. It was produced by Jerry Bron.Unlike their first album, the credits for the full half of the album were credited only to Ken Hensley, as opposed to the collaborative partnership of frontman David Byron and guitarist Mick Box. Shortly after the release, drummer Keith Baker left the band, replacing Ian Clark (from another Vertigo band, Cressida). Along with Clark, the band embarked on their first US tour, supporting Three Dog Night and Steppenwolf. In the European charts, the album was placed from 5 to 31 places. the album is included in the 500 best works of hard rock of all time.
