"Sunrise", the album's lead single, won the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. Matrices A-CP/B-CP-1.  Mega rare American promo original of the cult album. The Soft Parade is the fourth studio album by the American rock band The Doors, released on July 18, 1969 on the Elektra label. The Soft Parade did not receive approval from either critics or listeners. So, in the Billboard 200, the record reached only the sixth position, and in the charts of the UK and other European countries, the disc did not debut at all, unlike its predecessor Waiting for the Sun (1968). Of all the singles released in support of the album — "Touch Me", "Wishful Sinful", "Tell All the People"ruen and "Runnin' Blue" — only the first achieved sales success: it reached the third line in the Billboard Hot 100 and then received gold certification by the RIAA. Many music publications, for example, Rolling Stone, were dissatisfied with the record, mainly due to The Doors' attempt to move away from their style to the use of orchestral arrangements. Over time, music historians have changed their opinion about The Soft Parade for the better, but the CD is still recognized as one of the weakest works of the band during Morrison's lifetime. ...more

A rare British original in top condition. Duke is the tenth studio album by the British progrock band Genesis, and the second recorded by her as a trio, released on March 31, 1980. The recording of the album took place at Phil Collins' house, who was simultaneously working on his solo debut Face Value. According to Collins, he was "kind of obsessed with Duke." The compositions "Behind The Lines", "Duchess", "Guide Vocal", "Turn It On Again", "Duke's Travels" and "Duke's End" were originally a whole piece called "Duke Suite" with the central character Albert, but the band decided to split it up to avoid comparisons with 23-minute "Supper's Ready" from the album Foxtrot. This simplification reflected the group's departure from complex compositions, its desire to become more straightforward and well suited to the era of the 80s.  Duke became the band's first album to reach number one in the UK charts.
