The Book of Taliesyn is the second studio album by the British band Deep Purple. It was released in the USA in October 1968 on the Tetragrammaton Records label, and in the UK in June 1969 on the Harvest label named after the "Book of Taliesin" — a Welsh manuscript of the first half of the XIV century, including the oldest Welsh poems, many of which are attributed to the poet Taliesin (VI century). Return to Base is the eighth studio album by the British rock band Slade. The album was released on October 1, 1979 by Barn Records. The album was a success in Belgium in 1980, reaching No. 1 on the Albums chart. Since the album was not available in Belgium, fans in the country initially had to buy the album as an import. The Australian Recording Industry Association placed the album at the 48th position in the list of the "50 best albums" for 1988. The album's title song "Unchain My Heart", followed by "Two Wrongs", took the 11th place on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. BETTY DAVIS SONGBOOK (2LP)-2015-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-PROVOGUE-PRD7455-1.  A rare original of the cult album.  Full release title: Mahalia Barnes / The Soul Mates featuring Joe Bonamassa "OOH YEA (The Betty Davis Songbook)". The album was recorded over three days at Freight Train Studios in Sydney, Australia, "live", without overdubs. The hard groove and riffs (Bonamassa immediately declares his presence) and the sharp piercing vocals in the title track If I'm In Luck I Might Get Picked Up turn into a love story - soul In The Meantime with a dominant organ and, again, a prolonged solo by Bonamassa. The funky He Was A Big Freak gives Mahalia the opportunity to show all her vocal capabilities. The album is made up of covers of songs by Betty Davis, Miles Davis' wife, recorded in the early 70s. Betty met Miles Davis in the late 60s and introduced him to the world of psychedelic rock, introduced him to Jimi Hendrix. Later she released three solo albums, which influenced the formation of such musicians as Prince, Ice Cube, Erykah Badu, etc. Her music consists of a thundering mix of funk, soul, R/B, served raw with sexual overtones and hooligan fervor. Last year, in the studio, she performed several Betty Davis songs in the presence of renowned producer Kevin Shirley (Joe Bonamassa, Led Zeppelin, Journey). So the idea of a whole disc was born, which was willingly supported by Joe Bonamassa, who took a full-scale part in these recordings. "OOH YEA” is an ambitious work by a young singer, a modern interpretation of Betty Davis' music.
