Carry Fire is the eleventh solo studio album by English rock singer, songwriter and musician Robert Plant, released on October 13, 2017 on Nonesuch/Warner Bros. Records. It was also Plant's second studio album with his backing band the Sensational Space Shifters, although the band is not listed on the cover. Carry Fire received positive reviews from critics. On Metacritic, the album was given a score of 84/100 based on 15 reviews, indicating "universal acclaim". The album was selected by Rolling Stone magazine as the 37th best album of 2017. CHARLES LLOYD-SOUNDTRACK- 1969-FIRST PRESS USA-ATLANTIC-SD1519. A rare original by one of the iconic saxophonists of the second wave of the 60s. The Soundtrack is a live album by jazz saxophonist Charles Lloyd, recorded at New York City Hall in 1968 by the Charles Lloyd Quartet featuring Keith Jarrett, Ron McClure and Jack DeJohnette.Tom Jurek's review on Allmusic awarded the album 4 stars and reads: "The soundtrack stomps with all the fury of a live gospel choir trying to assign Saturday night to God and not another guy... The band is in a heavy Latin American mood, where blues, samba, bossa, hard bop, modal and even soul are saturated with blues. With only four tunes presented, the Charles Lloyd Quartet, although slightly more dissonant than in 1966 and 1967, plays much harder, rougher and gets into rhythm faster than any group that Lloyd led previously... The band broke up shortly after when Jarrett left to play with Miles Davis, but if it had been a swan song live, they couldn't have picked a better gig. ...more

PXR5 is the seventh studio album by the English space rock band Hawkwind, released in 1977. The album spent six weeks on the UK Albums Chart, peaking at number 30. This is the band's first album without co-founder Nick Turner, and drummer Alan Powell has also left. Additionally, Adrian "Ade" Shaw of Magic Muscle replaced Paul Rudolph during the recording session. The music on this album is more pop-oriented than their previous offerings. The cover is the only Hawkwind design by Hipgnosis, featuring interior photographs of Battersea Power Station, edited by Richard Manning, and graphics by Jeff Halpin. ...more
