Odessa is the sixth studio album by The Bee Gees, a double vinyl album released on March 30, 1969, originally in a deluxe red flocked cover with gold lettering. Despite reaching the top ten in the UK and the top twenty in the US, the album was not particularly well received, although it is now considered by many to be the band's most significant album of the sixties. An ambitious project, originally conceived as a concept album about the loss of a fictional ship in 1899, it created tension and disagreement within the band over the direction of work; finally, a dispute over which song to release as a single led to Robin Gibb temporarily leaving the band.Released by Polydor Records in the UK and Atco Records in the US, Odessa was the band's fourth album to be released internationally, and their only double album of original music. This will be the last album, which will be presented the original incarnation of the group, and the last in which will participate guitarist Vince Meloni. Joyride is the third studio album by Swedish pop rock duo Roxette, released on March 25, 1991 by EMI as a follow—up to their international breakthrough album Look Sharp! (1988), as well as the off-album single "It Must Have Been Love" from the soundtrack to the movie Pretty Woman (1990). The album was recorded in 11 months in Sweden. The duo faced serious pressure from the record company to release a successful next album, and resisted the pressure that forced them to move to Los Angeles and work with experienced American producers. After its release, the album was a success both critically and commercially. In a retrospective review for AllMusic, it was called "the work of two pop artists at the peak of their careers." Joyride topped the charts in seven European countries and achieved multi-platinum status in several regions. Мега редкий оригинал культового альбома проекта KURT HAUENSTEIN (SUPERMAX). «BAMBOO» – сайд-проект Курта Хауэнштайна - лидера и создателя группы "Supermax" и вокалисток из Суринама. В этом проекте Хауэнштайн отказался от мужского (собственного) вокала в пользу женского. Видна его концепция «сделать нечто поуниверсальней». Проект обустроен всецело по супермаксовым рецептам. Курт сочинил, аранжировал, да и сыграл в основном всё сам (бас, синтезаторы и прочие клавишные). Помимо трёх вокалисток ему помогают два перкуссиониста и ударник, плюс ещё двое значатся на подпевках. Результат – синтезаторный диско-фанк, однако музыкальная эстетика «идеологически» ближе к диско (в густо-синтезаторной его версии) с важным отличием от массового пошиба, ибо грув ударных поизысканней, бас, естественно, тоже не прост. Классический симбиоз диско с реггей также в наличии. В итоге: восемь вещей, а альбом идёт ровно и уверенно. Может быть «функциональной музыкой», как для танцевальных нужд, так и, как ни странно, для спокойного фонового звучания.
