MOTT THE HOOPLE-THE HOOPLE-1974-FIRST UK PRESS-CBS - room S69062 Rare British original. The Hoople is the seventh Studio album by the British rock band Mott the Hoople . The album peaked in the UK album chart at # 11 ,while it the highest rating in the US charts was # 28.[7] a remastered and expanded version was released by Sony BMG on the Columbia Legacy label in Europe in 2006. It was the only album with guitarist Ariel Bender (who replaced Mick Ralphs after he left Bad Company), and the last album with the participation of vocalist Ian hunter before his departure on a solo career. The album cover depicts a stylised portrait of Kari-Ann Muller (with the band in her hair), who also graces the cover of the debut album Roxy Music in 1972 .

Tons of Sobs is the debut Studio album by British rock band Free, released by Island Records on 14 March 1969. One of the first albums in the style of Blues-rock. The album hit the UK charts, but reached #197 in the Billboard Hot 200 in the United States.At the time of the recording of the album the band Free was very young: none of them are under the age of twenty, and bass player Andy Fraser was sixteen. They have had some success through constant touring, and their debut album was composed mostly of songs performed at concerts. The budget allocated for the recording of the album was only 800 pounds[2]. Much of the album was recorded over several days in October 1968.
