Jimmy page and Robert plant, who became famous as members of the English rock band Led Zeppelin, recorded and toured in the mid 1990-ies as Page and Plant. Together with session musicians they gave in 1994, a few concerts that made up their first album in the new as "No Quarter", which had considerable success, after which they went on a world tour. Then they recorded their second album "Walking into Clarksdale" and did another world tour and at the end of 1998, dismissed the project. Band from Horsens, Region Midtjylland, active during 1967-1969 and in 1971-1975. Took as the title of a famous novel by Ernest Hemingway "the old man and the sea". Band before the first performance in Denmark of the legendary "Led Zeppelin". In the spring of 1972, the musicians started to record their debut album, which went on sale in the same year. The album's success was stunning. The group has been actively touring the country, and, in the end, made for a Grand rock festival "Roskilde", twice: in 1973 and 1974. In 1974, after minor changes, "The Old Man & The Sea" started to record their second album which was only released 40 years later. In the autumn of 1974 the band broke up, and 16 years later resumed musical activity in order to give several concerts in his home town of Horsens, which, of course, pleased not only the local residents but also all lovers of the Danish progressive rock. ...more
