High Civilization is the nineteenth studio album by the British pop group the Bee Gees, released on March 25, 1991 in the United Kingdom, and on May 14, 1991 in the United States-their last album recorded for Warner Bros. Records, after a four-year contract (they will return to WB through a subsidiary company Reprise Records in 2006: having obtained the rights to their previously released material, they will reissue each album through Reprise). Perhaps in response to the firm resistance of American radio to the two previous albums-E. S. P. (1987) and One (1989), which proved well in other countries, the American Warner Bros. gave this advertisement one less share and did not release remixes. They recorded this album, and their next album size is not everything with engineer Femi Gia. In the US, the album was only available on CD and cassette, but the LP version was released in limited quantities in some countries. While it failed to chart in the US, it reached No. 6 in Switzerland, No. 2 in Germany (achieving platinum certification in both countries), No. 24 in the UK. ...more
