ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album. Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union. TRAFFIC-WELCOME TO THE CANTEEN-1971-FIRST UK PRESS-ISLAND - ILPS9166. Rare original British prog.This is the first live album by English rock band Traffic . It was recorded live at Fairfield Halls , Croydon and The Oz Benefit Concert, London July 1971 and released in September of the same year. It was recorded during the third term of the Dave Mason with the band, which lasted only six performances. The track list includes one song from the first three Traffic albums, two songs from the first solo album Mason's "Alone Together" and "Gimme Some Lovin' " from the former group Steve wynwood art The Spencer Davis Group . (On the wynwood art and rhythm guitar Mason is clearly not in sync for part of "Gimme Some Lovin'".) In the UK the album reached number 26 in the charts and yielding the single "Gimmie Some Lovin' (live)", which peaked at number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100 ...more
