Lot 56ICARUS-MARVEL WORLD OF ICARUS-1972-FIRST PRESS UK-PYE-NMINT/NMINT

ICARUS-the MARVEL WORLD OF ICARUS-1972-FIRST UK PRESS-PYE number NSPL28161. British band Icarus recorded in 1972 in the style of Heavy Progressive Rock. The album is completely dedicated to one theme — superheroes of comics from Marvel. This album was withdrawn from sale very quickly after release, as the company “Pye Records”, which first edition was published, was subjected to legal pressure from the “Marvel Comics”. So, the album is quite rare. John Etheridge joined the “Way'Darryl's Wolf,” and subsequently in “Soft Machine”
