S. was the second Studio album by the British Blues and jazz society's collective consciousness, led by guitarist Alexis Korner . This album is usually called C. C. S. 2 to avoid confusion with the first, eponymous album, although this name can not be found anywhere on record or sleeve.
It included covers of songs by such diverse artists as Led Zeppelin and The Jackson 5 . In the official UK singles chart the album took the 23rd spot, while the single "Brother" took 25th place.

Rare American original in the absolute state.The album was recorded by the band as a trio to record Erik Brann left the band due to disagreements and was replaced by four session guitarists. Two of them - Larry Reinhardt, Mike Pinera shortly after its release became official members of Iron Butterfly.
