The album was released on 15 June 1987 and credited to "Zucchero Sugar Fornaciari". Sold about 1.5 million copies in Italy, becoming the biggest selling album at the international level, the Italian until it was overtaken the next Studio album Oro Incenso & Birra released in 1989.
