First press has black labels with gold print and “Parlophone Co ltd.” the beginning of the press around the perimeter of the label. “"DICK JAMES" credits on the tracks “I Saw Her Standing There”, “Misery”, “Do You Want To Know A Secret” & “There's A Place”. With or without the tax code and with 33 1/3 on the label. The polyethylene within the tab “USE Emitex”.

Vinyl is in clean top condition 1-2 light marks -EX+/NMINT . Cover in pretty good condition with some scuffs on the corners and panels - EX+ Labels are in top condition - NMINT.. Excellent copy in the collection!!!!!

Plain white or white & black “LP advertising” inner sleeves. With or without KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: XEX 605-1 or -2; Side 2: XEX 606-1. This is how the labels first appeared on the shelves. Still using the sans serif Arial typeset. Also, these early labels misprint the side 2 track Doctor Robert as “Dr. Robert”. These early Sans-serif labels have each song title starting on a new line with the first line purely for “Taxman” and have “Eleanor Rigby” starting on the second line down. FIELDS-FIELDS 1971-FIRST UK PRESS-CBS S 69009. Very rare original cult prog group in the complete set ( large poster 96cm x 64 see Fields as a progressive rock group formed in 1971 by Andrew McCulloch ( KING CRIMSON) and Graham field (RARE BIRD founder) and Alan Barry (DOWNLANDS). They released one eponymous album in 1971 and the first single from the album, "A Friend of Mine", in 1973. They recorded a second album in 1972, but it was postponed because CBS were not initially released. The master tape of this album was reworked and released as “Contrasts: Urban Roar to Country Peace” in 2015, with the full participation of Graham field. ...more

VIRUS-THOUGHTS-1971-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-PILZ-20-21102-9. For musicians "Virus" 1971 was eventful. Almost immediately after the release of "Revelation" some of them were invited as accompanists Ken Hensley, which is in between "Salisbury" and "Look At Yourself" came to Germany to make another commercial project like "Machine Head". But apparently, the cooperation with the Englishman did not go to the group benefit, as after a couple of months of the original structure remained only Jörg-Dieter Krahe and Wolfgang Rieke. In connection with these events the band lost original quite an original sound and the band has played more straight-ahead hard rock. The musicians, who had gone to Hensley in "Weed", very soon regretted it. Ken after's self-titled album back in England, and not having gone on tour with young and hungry to glory by the Germans. And if "Uriah Heep" was prepared for a happy life (at least for the next 10 years), here's the musicians from "Virus" to realize their full potential and failed. ...more
