NAZARETH,NO MEAN CITY-1978 - FIRST GERMANY PRESS-VERTIGO- 6370428. Rare German original. The tenth Studio album by Nazareth. The cover artwork was painted by Rodney Matthews, the famous English Illustrator in fantasy style, created covers for works by many other artists (Scorpions, Thin Lizzy and others) the Title is borrowed from the novel by Alexander McArthur and Kingsley long's "No Mean City" (1935). With this album the band's sound became heavier, given the addition of guitarist Zal Cleminson of the Sensational Alex Harvey Band. The popularity of the album allowed the group to come up with a few big names such as Thin Lizzy, in their round of 1978/79.

In August 1989 Gorky Park release their debut self-titled album. His support in new York was filmed for the song "My Generation" and "Bang". The single "Bang" hit the "top 15" on American MTV and stayed there for two months, reaching 3 lines. The single "Try to Find Me" made it to position 81 on the Billboard Hot 100, making Gorky Park the first Russian band, caught in the American national chart. Since the release of the previous album A Hard Road in the composition of Bluesbrakers there have been noticeable changes: Peter green went to collect his own band (Fleetwood Mac), and Ainsley Dunbar went to Jeff Beck. The vacant position of drummer John Keefe took Hartley's, and replacing the lead guitarist was more difficult - because the new musician would have to withstand the comparison with Clapton and green. John recalled that on one of concerts when Eric for some reason didn't show up on time, came a young boy who claimed to know the entire repertoire of Bluesbreakers.
