Plains Music is the only Studio album by Manfred Mann's Plain Music created by British musician Manfred Mann after the end of the 1980s, he disbanded his group Manfred Mann's Earth Band (MMEB). Despite the fact that this album is not a work of Manfred Mann's Earth Band, it is often included in the discography of this group[1] (not least because the vocalist Noel of Makkal then became part of the revived MMEB). The album is based on folk music of the Indians of the Great plains of North America. Walls and Bridges is the fifth solo Studio album of the participant of group "Beatles" John Lennon, released in 1974. "Walls And Bridges" was recorded during the long absences of Lennon and Yoko Ono. The song "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" was attended by Elton John. He made a bet with Lennon that the song would be able to take first place in the American hit parade (which was previously not possible for any one single solo Lennon). If this would have happened, Lennon was required to attend the Elton John concert. He had to fulfill his promise, because, "Whatever Gets You thru the Night" actually managed to climb to the top of the chart. The song "Beef Jerky" is the only instrumental on solo albums Lennon. SWEET-LEVEL HEADED-1978-FIRST UK PRESS-POLYDOR-POLD5001. Very rare original British cult album. Level Headed-Sweet's sixth album . A different version was released on Polydor in Europe and Capitol in the US, Canada and Japan. The album "Love Is Like Oxygen", the latest single from the group that ranked in the top 40, it reached number 8 in the US and 9th in the UK. The only version of "Love Is Like Oxygen" is substantially shorter than the album version. The second single, "California Nights", was released as the album but only reached #76 in the United States. This was the last album with the classic lineup of Sweet, as Brian Connolly left about a year after the album's release to start a solo career. The remaining trio of Steve priest, Andy Scott and Mick Tucker continued the work and released three albums before breaking up in 1981. ...more
