The producer of this release this time were worked previously with the group when producing the singles "the Reflex" and "Wild Boys", the guitarist of the band Chic — Nile Rodgers. He also played the guitar on the main single of the album "Notorious". This is the only single of the album, which was able to reach its former commercial success (2nd place in USA and 7th in the UK).

In the Court of the Crimson King is the debut Studio album by the British band King Crimson, released in 1969. The album ranked fifth in the list of Top 25 best albums of progressive rock version Progarchives.com. The album was recorded with exceptional musicality, the poetics of texts.
