Recorded with Opera singer Montserrat Caballe. The second and last lifetime solo album Freddie Mercury. The disc is recorded in 1987-1988, the Studio Mountain Studios. The idea of Freddie Mercury with the involvement of the Symphony orchestra was not implemented because of lack of time, and in the end the album was partially arranged synths and drum machine. The song "Barcelona", which gave the name to the album, became the anthem of the city hosting the Summer Olympics in 1992 in Spain.
