Garage Inc. album band Metallica, released in 1998, which is a collection of cover versions of songs of different groups. The album songs musicians of various genres that have somehow influenced the work of the group, or were of great importance for the participants. These included songs of the pioneers of metal such as Black Sabbath, Diamond Head, Blue Öyster Cult, Thin Lizzy and more rocking southern sound of Bob Seger and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Using of songs from the first album from Mercyful Fate, Melissa (1983) the band recorded a medley that included in the album under the name Mercyful Fate. Cover Discharge and the Misfits introduced hardcore punk component. By August 2013 the album has sold around the world sold more than 6 million copies.
