The Game ("Game") is the eighth Studio album by British rock band Queen released 30 June 1980. The album was recorded in Studio "Musicland" in Munich (Germany) from June 1979 to may 1980. The album was well received: it became five times platinum in Canada alone. This is the only album of Queen, took first place in the charts in the UK and USA.

It was released in the USA in October 1968 on the Tetragrammaton Records label, and in the UK in June 1969 on the Harvest label named after the "Book of Taliesin" — a Welsh manuscript of the first half of the XIV century, including the oldest Welsh poems, many of which are attributed to the poet Taliesin (VI century).
