Bananas — the seventeenth Studio album by British rock band Deep Purple, released in 2003, and their first Studio album, recorded without Jon Lord on keyboards. David Jeffries from the site Allmusic.com gave the album four stars out of five. A critic noticed that the CD "has all the signs of frustration": it is missing the keyboard parts of Jon Lord, always give sound Deep Purple special color, and the title and cover too eccentric. However, he said, surprisingly, really amazing album: Lord successfully replaced don Airey, the songs perfectly listen to the vocals of Ian Gillan are still good and the sound quality doesn't cause complaints.
