Undoubtedly the most popular AC/DC album at the time of release, Highway to Hell has greatly expanded the audience of the group and became the springboard in front of a dizzying rise next year with the album Back in Black. This is the last album with the participation of vocalist Bon Scott, who died in 1980. The album took 20 th place in the rating "100 best rock albums of all time" by the magazine Classic Rock. The album became the band's first in the top hundred of the hit parade Billboard 200. Songs like "Highway to Hell" "Shot Down in Flames" and "If You Want Blood (You've Got It)" was popular among fans and were regularly performed at the concerts of the group. Rolling Stone magazine made the album in the list of "the 500 greatest albums of all time". This edition was sold in the U.S. sold 7 million copies and reached 7x platinum status. At the moment, the album is the second biggest selling album of AC/DC after Back in Black.
