GILLA-I LIKE SOME COOL ROCK'n'ROLL 1980-FIRST GERMANY PRESS-HANSA - 201406-320. Very rare original one of the best albums in the disco style. Gill and Roelofs 1980 record a new album, preceded by its release of the single We Gotta Get Out Of This Place. The album was called I Like Some Cool Rock'n'roll, and it was produced by himself, Roelofs, and Farian remained in the project as a viewer and a producer, for which, however, had the final word. The album was attended by interesting disco song Go Down Main Street, Tom Cat, as well as a few songs Roelofs, co-written by Fred Jay, including a beautiful lyrical Take Your Time. What prevented this album to be a bestseller, unknown, but, apparently, the role played by the fact that in 1980 disco began to experience hard times. The album was attended by guitarist, session musician John Tropea who worked on 4 tracks of the album and the bass virtuoso Stanley Clarke, participated in the creation of "Skyscrapers". The song "Rhapsody in Blue", performed Auminum Deodato, was used in a car commercial Pontiac in the early 70-ies. "Tightrope" — album of Vladimir Vysotsky, recorded in France at Studio Barclay in September 1977, accompanied by instrumental ensemble. The arrangements of the songs for the album did Konstantin Kazansky. Konstantin Kazansky says:In 1977 the same year, when he published the "military" record on "Shang du Monde", a great admirer of Vladimir Vysotsky Jacques Urevich, which I mentioned, too, wanted to release his album. With him we have had conversations about it, and Urevich I said, "I don't know how it turns out.
