Vaya Con Dios is the debut album by Belgian Blues-rock band Vaya Con Dios released on Ariola Records in October 1988. The singles from the album were the songs "Just a Friend of Mine", "Puerto Rico", "Don't Cry for Louie" and "Johnny", the only song in French on the record. Vaya Con Dios was written with the cooperation of various artists, one of them — Burt Dekort, a former member of staff of the Mistress, worked to create "Puerto Rico". The singles "Puerto Rico", "Just a Friend of Mine", "Don't Cry for Louie" has brought fame to the group. After the success of the singles from the album Vaya Con Dios team opened the way to many hit-parades of Europe. The album got platinum status in Finland and gold in thirty countries around the world.

Velvet Darkness is the first Studio album by guitarist Allan Holdsworth, released in 1976 through producer Creed Taylor's CTI Records . The tracks for the album were initially recorded by engineer Rudy van Gelder at his Studio in Van Gelder in new Jersey. According to Holdsworth, this was done during a rehearsal session, after which the records were released by CTI without his or the other members of the group consent. None of the participating musicians had never received royalties for his work. Therefore, Holdsworth believed the album the unauthorized release and not part of his discography.
