Goodnight Vienna is the fourth Studio album by British musician, drummer of the Beatles Ringo Starr, recorded in the summer of 1974 in Los Angeles, and released later the same year. Although all members of the Beatles contributed to the previous album Ringo, only John Lennon was Goodnight Vienna. The album became a hit, but less successful than the previous one.Single from the album, a cover version of the song The Platters "Only You (And You Alone)", reached 6th place in the charts in the United States. The album reached 8 on the Oricon chart in the US, in the end got the gold, and the reviews were generally favorable. The second single, "No No Song" reached No. 3 in the American charts. Nevertheless, the album reached only number 30 in the UK, and this remained the best achievement Starr in the charts in his homeland until 1998.
