TRAFFIC-WELCOME TO THE CANTEEN-1971-FIRST UK PRESS-ISLAND - ILPS9166. Matrix A-2U/B-1U. Stamper 1RA/1GM. Rare original British prog.This is the first live album by English rock band Traffic . It was recorded live at Fairfield Halls , Croydon and The Oz Benefit Concert, London July 1971 and released in September of the same year. It was recorded during the third term of the Dave Mason with the band, which lasted only six performances. The track list includes one song from the first three Traffic albums, two songs from the first solo album Mason's "Alone Together" and "Gimme Some Lovin' " from the former group Steve wynwood art The Spencer Davis Group . (On the wynwood art and rhythm guitar Mason is clearly not in sync for part of "Gimme Some Lovin'".) In the UK the album reached number 26 in the charts and yielding the single "Gimmie Some Lovin' (live)", which peaked at number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100 ...more

In Russia and countries of the former USSR also known as the "Blue frost" or "Blue song". The prominence the song received the British disco band ERUPTION for their second album, "Leave a Light". MAYALL, JOHN-CRUSADE-1967-FIRST PRESS (MONO) UK-DECCA-LK4890. Matrix A-1A/B-1A. Very rare original cult Blues rocker. Since the release of the previous album A Hard Road in the composition of Bluesbrakers there have been noticeable changes: Peter green went to collect his own band (Fleetwood Mac), and Ainsley Dunbar went to Jeff Beck. The vacant position of drummer John Keefe took Hartley's, and replacing the lead guitarist was more difficult - because the new musician would have to withstand the comparison with Clapton and green.
